Tabbouleh, a well-known the Levant region salad, includes various ingredients that provide different tastes and textures. The first one is bulgur (cracked wheat), and we prefer the extra fine bulgur for our recipe. Bulgur is left in the boiling water until it softens. Another essential in tabbouleh salad is the preparation of vegetables. Parsley, mint, tomato, and onion are chopped as finely as possible to create the best result.
After draining all the water from the bulgur, we mix the bulgur with the finely chopped vegetables and mix them well to distribute the ingredients evenly. Lastly, we add olive oil and lemon juice as well as salt and pepper into the recipe, and we serve the tabbouleh.
